"Quantum Bioscience and the Future of Healthcare"

With AI becoming an established research platform, life sciences are advancing at an unprecedented speed. However, approaches that rely solely on AI training data are reaching their limits in achieving a fundamental understanding of biological phenomena and driving true innovation in medicine and disease prevention.

The next breakthroughs will come from reexamining life at its most fundamental scale: the quantum level. Quantum bioscience is an emerging interdisciplinary field that seeks to unravel the principles underlying life processes such as metabolism, signal transduction, and homeostasis through the fundamental behavior of matter and energy. By exploring these quantum-level interactions, this approach can shed light on aspects of biology long overlooked by conventional medicine and drug discovery, paving the way for novel therapeutics, precision medicine, and holistic healthcare, spanning disease prevention and recovery.

CBI2026 will explore the forefront of translational research integrating quantum science, AI, advanced metrology, and bioinformatics, highlighting the transformative paradigms emerging from the convergence of quantum science and life sciences. We will also promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and discuss ways to encourage the next generation of research and researchers to explore the "next frontier" in life science and medicine.
